Getting Your PDF Pages in the Right Order
Sometimes PDF pages aren't arranged how you want them. Maybe you scanned documents out of order. Maybe you merged files and the sequence is wrong. Maybe you just want a different flow.
Reordering pages fixes all of this.
Drag-and-Drop Rearrangement
Our Page Reorder tool keeps it visual:
- Upload your PDF
- See thumbnails of all pages
- Drag pages to their new positions
- Download the reordered PDF
Just grab a page and drop it where you want it. The interface shows exactly what the result will look like before you commit.
Common Reordering Scenarios
Fixing scan order — Pages scanned in the wrong sequence or upside down stacks getting reversed.
Moving important info to front — Putting summaries or key findings at the beginning of a report.
Creating custom sequence — Arranging content in the order that makes sense for your purpose, not the original author's.
Correcting merge order — After combining multiple PDFs, adjusting the final sequence.
More Than Just Moving
In the reorder interface, you can also:
Delete pages — Don't need certain pages? Remove them during the reorder process.
Duplicate pages — Need a page twice? Copy it.
Rotate pages — If some pages are sideways, rotate them while you're rearranging.
Handling multiple fixes in one session is more efficient than using separate tools.
Preview Before Saving
The thumbnail view shows exactly what you're doing. Before downloading, scroll through and verify the order is correct.
Much better than discovering a mistake after you've already sent the document.
Original File Stays Safe
Reordering creates a new PDF. Your original file isn't modified. If you mess up, just start over with the original.
Good habit: keep source files until you've verified the output is correct.
